As I walked down the crooked steps of my wonky little Goan beach hut that I'd called home for the past 12 nights for the last time, I took a few moments to reflect upon my little stint here. What a fun time it's been - and I owe it to all the fabulous people that have surrounded me - thank you all for being such amazing, wonderful people - especially you, Pawas!! You fully looked after me - my heart is full of gratitude for all that you have done. I felt sad to part ways with everyone - but I'll be back there for my yoga teacher training course at the end of February and will definitely be catching up with the Goa crew once more!

I had a very interesting business proposal from Pawas's friend, Chetan, who runs an Ayurveda centre in the town I was staying in. He offered me to teach yoga there for him once I get qualified. It could open up an interesting opportunity for a 6 months in India, 6 months in London lifestyle, which does sound extremely tempting. I'm thinking about it, but for sure there are more parts of the world I need to explore before committing 100% to anything. It was a wonderful suggestion - and one I'm quite tempted by. We'll see where the wind takes me...

My gig on new year's eve was very good fun. The crowd were quite tough to win over, but I found a way - and had the dance floor fully rocking. The promoters of the night were very happy - and that makes me happy. After my gig I headed to a super cool little club called Bubble Brunch to meet some good buddies - some from London - and some that I had been introduced to in Goa - and continued to have silly amounts of fun with them all. It really was a night spent with the most wonderful people - guys, you all rocked my little world - I loved every minute of it - thank you for making my new year's eve so special. After grabbing a couple of hours sleep I then headed to another DJ gig for a private party, then passed out hard at around 3am the following morning. On the evening of 2nd Jan I played a set at the awesome venue Shanti with the wonderful Mr Pawas himself. We span back to back for 4 hours, to the backdrop of the setting sun - it was fabulous.

The remainder of my time in Goa was mostly spent recovering from the new year's party sessions - and enjoying the company of my wonderful Goa crew. More delicious food was had, a lazy evening was spent chilling out on a hammock with lovely Navin, more amazing food munching, a cheeky beach-side smooch with a deliciously pretty boy from Delhi (teehee), a shopping trip with Pawas, a day of sunning myself on the beach - and one final party at Shanti with Pawas & SCSI-9 spinning the most fabulous tuneage brought my wonderful days of this round of Goa to a close. I look forward to returning to it at the end of February.

I'm now about 250km south of Goa, in Gokarna, where I'm spending a few days chilling with my buddy Jason on the very, very sleepy shores of Cudlee beach. Apparently this is what Goa was about 20 year ago. It's super relaxed, full of friendly, chilled people...no Goa trance lol. This morning was spent in the middle of a forest, under a huge banyan tree, having a session of Reiki healing - tomorrow we're heading out for an early morning hike to check out the surrounding beaches (which are apparently beautiful). Really looking forward to it. Tonight I'm checking out Gokarna town...and the Burning Ghats...where I'm hoping to find some cremations taking place...I'll keep you posted on that one.

Here are some piccies of my time since leaving the ashram...enjoy! :) xxx
